Personally, we really liked the Secrets/Breathless separation. The location is fine if you just want to relax or do excursions, but you won't be walking anywhere off the resort - we did that on purpose to avoid a bunch of crowded beaches. My wife and I had never done an all-inclusive resort before, but we visited Secrets at the end of 2022 and this was a decent first experience.
The sliding doors would not stay shut 100% of the time, which caused the AC to not run properly… but not a huge issue. Our room was a little bit dated with one drawer that would not stay shut most of the time. Nothing the resort can really do about it, but just be aware. Lots of seaweed and Sargassum at resort when we went in April. The cake was not what was advertised, but I could care less about the cake personally. It was perfect for what we needed!! Nice touches after the ceremony. Emma did a good job organizing everything.
Martin was our concierge, he was amazing as well! Lots of people bring bigger cups, but I watched the bartenders and they don’t necessarily use any more alcohol! Luis at the preferred lounge/bar does an amazing job and is most attentive/friendly. Pools are clean.ĭrinks are a lot weaker than I expected. The resort itself is updated, lots of updates still taking place. Bed was very comfortable, linens clean and stain free. Rooms are getting a little dated… but they were clean. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Staff were beyond phenomenal, kind, courteous. Service was fantastic from the time we stepped out of the transport until we left.
